Dr. Leonard Weiss and Dr. Mark Yazer of Emergency Medicine discuss “The way forward for prehospital transfusion” in CAP (Dec 2022). Their efforts, along with his other UPMC colleagues have allowed the establishment of prehospital transfusion to become part of more hospitals’ emergency programs.
