The University of Pittsburgh Medical School Class of 2015 chose from among many excellent and dedicated teachers when deciding on their Golden Apple awardee. The finalist included two of our very own attending physicians: Stephanie Gonzalez, MD, Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine, UPMC Presbyterian and Chrisopher Schott, MD, Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine and Critical Care Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine, UPMC Shadyside.

The students chose Christopner Schott as this years 2015 Golden Apple awardee. Congratulations to both for the acknowlegement from their students and the impact on the careers of the next generation of physicians.
