The Department of Emergency Medicine maintains a long-term commitment to actively promote relationships between UPMC and community hospitals. In addition to the core academic campuses at UPMC-Presbyterian, UPMC-Mercy, UPMC-Shadyside and UPMC-Magee Women's hospitals. Medical Toxicology

Medical Toxicology provides training and clinical service for patients with acute and chronic poisoning. 

Post Cardiac Arrest Service

The Post Cardiac Arrest Service works with multiple specialties to provide a comprehensive service line for patients who have been resuscitated with CPR.

Emergency Medical Services

Emergency Medicine provides on-line and off-line medical direction for EMS and for STAT MedEvac critical care transport.  This service line also provides medical consultation for many commercial airlines.

Hyperbaric Medicine

Hyperbaric medicine for a wide range of indications is provided in two monplace chambers at UPMC Presbyterian hospital.
