The Division of Medical Toxicology just participated in the American College of Medical Toxicology Annual Scientific Meeting in San Francisco on April 10-14, 2019. This is the premier national meeting for medical toxicologists. All fellows and attendings from the Medical Toxicology Division were represented in presenting 16 scientific abstracts. This is an extraordinary number of presentations given at one meeting. In particular, Ryan Marino, MD, Alex Sidlak, MD, and Tony Pizon, MD, each presented a moderated poster. In addition, Josh Shulman, MD, had the distinct honor of an oral presentation on metformin toxicity. Overall, this was an extremely successful meeting and UPMC Medical Toxicology was well represented.
