Congratulations are due to Dr. David Salcido! David Salcido has been a long-time member of our department as a student and research specialist. This Thursday, he successfully defended his PhD in Epidemiology. The topic of his research is predicting re-arrest in patients who have initial return of circulation after cardiac arrest. David is recognized as the go-to person in the department for managing large and complex types of data.  Many of the research projects in the department benefit from software, algorithms, devices or solutions that David developed.
