Two researchers in the Department of Emergency Medicine received awards at today’s 11th Annual Safar Symposium. Mr. Matthew Sundermann’s “Compliance Changes in the Aorta Following Chest Compressions in a Standard and High Impulse Model,” won the Top Emergency Medicine Presentation Award. Mr. Patrick Coppler’s “Validation of the Pittsburgh Cardiac Arrest Category” won the Top Critical Care Medicine Presentation Award.
