Drs. Jon Rittenberger and Frank Guyette authored the October review article for Emergency Medicine Critical Care, “Post-arrest Cardiocerebral Resuscitation: An Evidence-based Review.” This article details the evidence behind post-arrest care guidelines and discusses areas of active debate in the literature. This review provides easily implemented strategies for post-arrest care in both large and small hospitals. EM Critical Care has more than 1000 attending-level subscribers, along with 4000 resident subscribers, attesting to its role in continuing education for practicing Emergency Physicians. Dr. Ben Abella, from the University of Pennsylvania, co-authored the work. Drs. Rittenberger and Abella are also Editorial Board members for EM Critical Care.
