Did you know that our Department is leading a public health intervention in Allegheny County to increase survival after sudden cardiac arrest? On July 7th, 2016 Department of Emergency Medicine researchers Lenny Weiss, MD and David Salcido, PhD, joined Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto and City Councilman Dan Gilman for a press conference to publicly unveil the release of the 'PulsePoint' smartphone app in our region. Watch as they explain 'PulsePoint' and how it will impact the delivery of lifesaving care for cardiac arrest in our region.
